Contents of "udbase0:" directory...
- There are four directories I use for required file areas for FIDO in
my neck of the woods:
BADFILES
- Any files found in INBOUND: that do NOT have a .TIC file,
or whose .TIC file states an area NOT created on your bbs
will be moved to this base.
- When you created this base in CNet, turn adopt@amaint ON
and make sure NOT to set any form of "auto" deletions, so
that you'll be able to see what kind of file came in that
you were not aware of.
HUBSTUFF
- My hub node 260 now and again sends out files like usage
reports, etc. These files are then copied to this area.
FIDONEWS
NODEDIFF
- I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that ALL FIDO NODES can
support these two areas, as I believe all Fido Nodes use
NodeDiffs and receive the weekly FidoNews files. That's
where these files are copied to when received.
- See the "DoTick.rexx" and "NodeDiff.rexx" files, located inside the
"mail:fido/" directory for more information concerning these and other
file areas you might want to set up on your bbs for .TIC processing...
